Formulations and Formulators
Our condition specific products are formulated to do one thing, get to the core of the problem a customer may be facing. These formulations often include ingredients that may be unknown to the consumer and many times the health care professionals. We have observed the continued growth of knowledge of both these groups in the last ten years many times acknowledging the ingredients and formulations we have offered for years. Our ingredients and formulations have been tested and developed by well-known scientists such as Dr. Garth Nicolson of The Institute for Molecular Medicine, M Joseph Ahrens PhD of ATM Metabolics, Ken Hampshire of SyntraTech Corporation, a world recognized authority on metabolic syndrome and several others.
Evidence-Based and Therapeutic Potency
All Markit Health Products are evidence-based. The most cases the evidence comes from well-controlled human clinical trials, in populations demographically similar to our customers. Most ingredients will have a many published clinical results in peer-reviewed scientific journals. This is what we consider when reviewing ingredients to include in our formulas. We also take into consideration historical data of thousands of years of traditional use, as well as observations of practitioners in clinics. Once we have chosen evidence-based ingredients and acquired them in a superior form, our formulators always include the right therapeutic dosing of each ingredient, based on established research.
Superior Raw Material and Laboratories
All of our raw materials must pass stringent quality controls by our manufacturers before they are utilized. In addition, we use only those precursor materials that are of the highest quality and that pass our in house quality inspection.
All raw materials are tested for purity prior to production. Quality control engineers have the authority during any stage of production to reject any product that does not adhere to our strict quality standards. All personnel follow explicit written protocols that are strictly enforced during the manufacturing process. All steps during the manufacturing process are documented and reviewed by quality control specialists. Manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and cleaned on a predetermined schedule that is documented in company logs for review by the Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. The Department of Agriculture also has jurisdiction over equipment and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). This helps to ensure the absence of any contamination during the manufacturing process. Production records associated with each unit of a product, including all raw materials used, are filed for two years past the expiration date.
